I'm Ramin, But they call me
Red Rayman
Computer Enjoyer · AI Enthusiast · Part Time Developer · Night Gamer
I am Ramin Kohandel, a Computer Science graduate with a focus on Decision Science and Knowledge Engineering. I enjoy building practical things with code, exploring AI and machine learning, working on real-world web projects, and spending my nights inside good games, especially story-based and indie ones.
One person, two worlds.
Depending on where you find me, you might meet a slightly different version. Both are real.

Personal Side
My personal side. Games, stories, indie worlds, late-night ideas, and the character behind the name. The one who plays too late and feels things deeply.
Hi, I am Ramin.
Most people know me as a computer guy who enjoys solving problems, testing ideas, and building things that actually work. I studied Computer Science, Decision Science and Knowledge Engineering at MSc level, with academic interests mostly around machine learning, deep learning, AI, multilingual NLP, and model evaluation.
Outside academia, I work as a developer and technical problem solver. Websites, automation tools, scraping systems, server setups, design work, and practical business-focused projects.
But this site is not only about my resume. It is also about the person who loves games, quiet alone time, story-rich worlds, and finds inspiration from Final Fantasy VII, Hollow Knight, and NieR.
So yes, I am Ramin. But here, I am Red Rayman.

Computer Enjoyer
I like computers not only as tools, but as a space for creativity, experiments, problem solving, and sometimes chaos. From fixing systems to building websites, from training models to configuring servers. I enjoy making things work.
ML, DL & AI Enthusiast
My main academic and research interests are around machine learning, deep learning, NLP, multilingual AI, decision science, and evaluation methods. Especially interested in practical AI systems that are actually useful in real life.
MSc Computer Science Graduate
Graduated in Computer Science, Decision Science and Knowledge Engineering. My research connects AI, multilingual sentiment analysis, model comparison, and decision-based evaluation.
Part Time Developer
I build and maintain websites, automation tools, scraping systems, internal software, and digital solutions for real business needs. If it is digital and needs fixing or building, I am probably interested.
Night Gamer
At night, I return to games. Story games, indie games, RPGs, and strange creative worlds are a big part of my personal life. Final Fantasy VII, Hollow Knight, NieR. These are not just games to me.

Scrapers, Plugins & Apps
Python-based tools built to make real work faster and more practical. Scrapers, automation scripts, browser plugins, and Windows desktop apps, built when off-the-shelf software was not enough.
Academic Work & Research Interests
My academic work focuses on artificial intelligence and machine learning, especially multilingual NLP and model evaluation. I enjoy comparing models, understanding their strengths and weaknesses, and thinking about how AI systems can be evaluated beyond one simple score.
My MSc research explored multilingual sentiment analysis and compared different deep learning approaches under practical computing constraints, shaping my interest in AI that is not only powerful, but also understandable, efficient, and useful.
Research Interests
"I am especially interested in practical AI systems that can be useful in real life, not just ones that score well on benchmarks."
